At her nineteen, Helena Nathanael was photographed (in 1966) for Paris Match magazine, wearing authentic ancient Greek jewelry, and promotes Greek beauty and elegance.

A very extraordinary lady, both as a personality and a woman, Nathanel represents the Warm, Mediterranean beauty far from the other standards of the 60s era, when she was mesmerizing in Greek cinema.

We are used to herlooks with long hair, but here she looks gorgeous. The characteristic of the cat eye makeup era, emphasizes even more her sophisticated features.

Without really seeking it, she became a fashion icon and was photographed for Vogue on the catwalk. This dress is constantly coming back as a trend.

Here with a casual look. See the special choker and the belt.

In the movie "Epiheirisis Apollo" (1968), where she played the tour guide, she was unbelievably charming with her beautiful black hair pulled back with a ribbon and matching earrings or rings, launching a "childish" and at the same time elegant look.

Here she is, wearing denim shirt and her oversized glasses. Elena automatically passes on the message of unquestionable personal style. Did you notice the choker?

I doubt if any woman today could wear this shear dress without provoking bitter comments. Finally, we had our own Jane Birkin ...

OMG! This particular cut in the dress, will be back again and again...

When our beautiful Helena wore a blonde wig and met with Ziggy Stardust, or David Bowie.

With baby collar, lame and stripe. Absolute 60s look.

Elena sits on a futuristic ball chair, equipped with a phone and designed by Eero Aarnio in 1963. The designer could not find a better model to create it.

Inspirations ...

I looked for some dresses that remind us of the wonderful Elena Nathanael:

Did you know that Helena was Billy Bo's muse?

Wonderfully symbolic, the two of them look like supermodels in this historic photo.

Here you can watch her flirting with "prince" Thomas Fritch in the movie "Epixeirisis Apollon".
